MANG ADOR'S CAMPSITE, NAGSASA COVE | Advantages of Wet-Weather Camping

IT'S RAINING AND IT'S COLD, YOU SEE? WIFM? |

The tail end of summer is here and rainy months are fast approaching, hence entails a perfect opportunity to hit a few travel destinations. Travelling during off-peak season equates to relatively low cost airfare tickets and accommodation but would quite mean a little higher rate on tour packages due to limited number of clients and resources. While most people are flocked outside during summer, some are patient enough cocooning while waiting for the monsoon to come when beaches and campsites are empty. Such emptiness of these places provides a favorable time to kind of celebrate being on the loose.

WHAT TO DO? EXPECTATION VS REALITY |

W E A T H E R |  If sea transfer is included in your itinerary, then better check precipitation, humidity and wind, as sea currents are greatly affected by these combined factors.
T I M E |  Have a flexible itinerary to anticipate shifting weather conditions. Expect rebooking because of a flight delay or cancellation.
W A T E R P R O O F I N G |  Ensure the safety of your cash, clothes and gadgets by locking them all in a dry bag.
C A M P I N G | Invest on highly water-resistant tents, good quality sleeping pads/ bags or anything that helps to keep you cozy and dry over a chilly night.
L I G H T | Some campsites and beaches, especially those in rural areas, have poor spared electricity service. Bringing of solar lamps, lighter, flashlight or matchsticks to start a fire would be really cool to keep you warm: p

- RELIVES THE WONDERS OF YOUR FORGOTTEN CHILDHOOD -

Set up your camp, start a fire, and if it rains - feel the rhythm of the raindrops.

Do not just evade the rain.
Feel it.
Dance in it.

Mang Ador's Campsite, located a the farthest end of the coast, boasts isolation as it is the only spot bordered by the mountains, river, islet and a beach. You get to experience two paradises all at once: the tranquil waters of Nagsasa River and the bustling waves of its ocean. It is quietly seated away from the crowd or anything that is loud. Come night time, its entire territory becomes wholly dimmed and all that you could hear is either the sound of waves wrestling against the shore or the chirping sound geckos make up in the trees. But guess what, you have the entire galaxy with beyond number of stars to look at, lucid moon to talk to and if you get a little lucky, there will also be sightings of plankton in the ocean! These, all these, are all yours for free.

Mr. and Mrs. P with my four legged buddy!
