WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS: Drink. Eat

JONAH'S FRUITSHAKE |

Almost all restaurants in the island has their own version of fruit shakes, but the one that is remarkably visited by many: tourists and locals, is Jonah's.
They have refreshing drinks made from fresh local fruits. You need to allow about 15-20 minutes for them to prepare, specially if you are travelling during peak season.
Devouring Willy's Rock with the warmth of sunset as your backdrop - this altogether, as you take a sip of your smoothie is just plain orgasmic.

REAL COFFEE & TEA CAFE |

A small café situated on the second level of Sea World Diving Center recreated the Philippine Lime/ Citrus – calamansi/kalamansi/ calamondin.
It is managed by friendly staff and the gracious, Mama Lee – the person behind the phenomenal calamansi muffin in the island. Real Coffee & Tea Cafe offers drinks of different types - tea and coffee, using mainly the most possible natural ingredients.

SUNNY SIDE CAFE |

A brightly painted restaurant tucked along the shoreline of White Beach - Sunny Side Cafe, roars nothing but good vibe. Set of breakfast meals: Filipino or American, surely makes your Boracay morning a good one.

CAFE DEL SOL |

Imagine having your breakfast in front of the ocean with palm trees just right next to your table?
Too cool to be real, eh?
Cafe del Sol is one great spot where you can enjoy a good meal before finally deciding to hit other attractions (i.e. White Beach, D' Mall). Reasonably priced beverages, pasta and rice meals await guests.

NAGISA COFFEE SHOP |

Nagisa Coffee Shop, situated away from the busy streets and parties of Boracay, is a go-to place for people who are looking for an authentic Japanese cuisine.
An affordable set of varied menu: Filipino, Japanese, Thai and Western, is offered to diners.
The spicy pork ramen is worth a try if ever you would visit this place.
Just for this trip, I skipped Starbucks and decided to spend my afternoon coffee break, just sitting in one of their beach chairs while anticipating sunset. You'd love it too.

MC DONALD'S |

To some, Boracay is a home away from home.
If popular restaurant choices quite confuse you, a good old Fast Food Chain is always a safe choice.

LEMONI CAFE & RESTAURANT |

Lemoni Cafe must have loved lemons too much that it has crafted a pie in pure cleverness! The creation of the lemon pie was executed in such perfection, mixing the right amount of sweetness and plausible tang!
Wines, cocktails and rice meals are also offered.

ISLAND CHICKEN INASAL |

No need to go to Bacolod as one of the finest inasal - "roasted meat" recipes has been brought closer to us. For first timers, go for the original chicken breast or paa. Choose the spicy version for a different kind of kick! Add drops of chicken oil, soy sauce and don't forget their signature vinegar to complete the experience!

PARADISE GARDEN RESORT RESTAURANT |

Paradise Garden Restaurant, a beach front teaser, is sited just beside the convention Center. Great customer service who are very enthusiastic in orienting you on their menu makes this place a little more special for me. Iced/ hot beverages and a paradise of patisserie can be found here.

GUSH SOUVENIR SHOP & CAFE |

I have always been inspired by people who are passionate on their advocacies. People who go the extra mile - to enrich thy self, thy others, and to appease cultural gaps, are rare and beyond remarkable.
Gush Souvenirs & Cafe, a social enterprise founded to provide assistance to Aetas and local residents of Boracay, gives jobs and scholarship programs.

Souvenir shop, karaoke bar, painting session, bottomless cocktails - these, rolled into one, all for humanitarian cause.
